Brainball here. Dorydoo and I love to snuggle together, and here, I'm grooming her. There isn't any audio with this video clip, but if where were, you'd hear Mom saying SQUEE!

We Ballicai are sorry we've been scarce. Mom has been busy with the release of her novel, and she's working on a new one, too. Can you believe any bean could do that much typing, yet only help us kitties blog once a week (if we're lucky)?

And MaoMao MAOed and MAOed and MAOed at Momma, but now he's taking a nap. The spring sunshine made him feel all relaxed and dozey.

Super Sunday

It's a super Sunday for all kinds of reasons! For one thingie, alla us Ballicai got a beeyootiful awardie from my wife and sweetiepie, Ariel: the Works of Heart Awardie. Thank you so much, Sweetie!



And for another thingie, alla us Ballicai got another wunnerful awardie from our furriend Black-Cat: the Friendly Blogger Awardie. Thankies so much -- we are honored!



And still another thingie -- Momma got her author copies of her novel in the mail yesterday. She said something like YIPPEE SKIPPY! And she thought I might be innarested in checking out her book. Well, here's what happened:

Easy Like Sunday

Here in East Tennessee, we're getting lots and lots of rain, and the sound of it makes us Ballicai sleepy.

Spazzy Sunday and Good News!

Things are plenty spazzy around here! Well, I'm always spazzy. Here I am, playin with a paper wad. Yikes, it got away! Gotta go get it, gotta go get it!

Momma's been spazzing out almost as much as me. Her novel, Mirror Blue, has been releesed, and beans can order it now! Momma's furry excited. Her novel's got two kitties in it, so that's purretty cool. One of 'em is based on Brainball, except the book kitty is a gurl.

Come to think of it, Momma used to think Brainball was a gurl. Beans!!

MaoMao: Momma? Am I in your bookie?

Momma: No, MaoMao. But there's a kitty in my novel-in-progress who is based on you.

Spazzy Saturday

Brainball: We're keeping Momma to her promise of letting us blog once a week! We wish we could do more, but Mom's just soooooo busy -- two more weeks until her novel is released. She's excited -- spazzing out like MaoMao -- but we Ballicai miss blogging and visiting our friends!

Now, would someone turn on this sink for me? I want a drink!



Dorydoo: We Ballicai have two boxes to play with, and MaoMao and I are making good use of them. Mom calls us "Boxicai" when we're playing in our boxes!



Marilyn: *singing from the top of Mom's computer* "I want to be loved by you, boop boop a doop!"



MaoMao: Hi, efurrybodies! We Ballicai have missed you. Like Brainball saided, Momma's gonna try to help us blog once a week. That's purretty good, as buzzy as she is. But don't worry, we aren't goin annywheres. We love the Kitty Bloggiesphere and alla our furriends!

2. Momma and Daddy's garden. All kinds of kool stuff is growin there! We Ballicai don't eat that veggie stuffies, but it makes the beans happy.

3. We're excited fur Momma about her novel, efun if it means she can't help us bloggie as much.

4. Momma gives us boxies to play with regularly, and we love boxies!

5. Momma puts her fleece shirtie on the bed efurry day fur us to lay on and nap on.

SQUEE Saturday

Momma saided SQUEE when she saw Brainball and Dorydoo all cuddled up in her chair. She just didn't have the heart to move 'em, so she found somethin else to do for a while.



I've been sittin on Momma's pooter a lot, you know, just remindin her that efun though she's buzzy with book stuffies, she's gotta help us blog sometimes!



And here's Marilyn, ofur by Daddy's pooter. She figures that if Momma's gonna hog her pooter alla time, than she ought to learn to use Daddy's. She took a nap on his keyboard the othur day. hehehe

Time to Post Tuesday!

*whew*, Momma hasn't helped us Ballicai with our bloggie in a WEEK! Whaddya think we should do? Should I sharpen my clawsies on her butt?

Nah. Instead, I'll take a nap in Daddy's blue jeans.



And Brainball's taking a bath on Momma's turtleneck and her t-shirt. Momma was foldin clothes, but Brainball claimed these in the name of Catdom.




Dorydoo's gonna sit on Momma's pooter and tell her she'd better be quicker about helpin us blog next time!



And Marilyn's just grateful for the oppurtunity to strike a poze!

Wowie -- a New Box!

Alla us Ballicai are soooooooo happy! Ann and Maggy and Zoey of Zoolatry maded us a new box to replace the one that Brainball and Marilyn chewed up. Here it is! Isn't it pawesome???

"We're Here" Wednesday!

MaoMao: Alla us Ballicai are still here! *whew*, we're sorry we've been scarce. Momma's been superduper buzzy cuz she's got a novel that'll be published in May, and she's workin on another one (you can read updates at her web site). All of that is nice fur Momma, but we Ballicai miss our furriends!

Marilyn: What, Mom's actually helping us blog today? I'm amazed! Somebody pinch me. I might be dreaming!



Brainball: Comfy fleece shirt and a yellow jellybean for a pillow... zzzzzzzzzz.....



MaoMao: Okeydokeys, I'm goin back to sleep now. I've been on vakashun in Hawaii with my sweetiepie and wife, Ariel, and we hadded a great time. So I'm havin sweet dreams!



Dorydoo: Well, since Mom is helping us blog, I will pose prettily for the flashy box!


Speaking of boxes, here's what our box looks like now. Both Brainball and Marilyn like to chew on it then spit out the cardboard. Momma sweeps up piles of cardboard every day. Soon it won't be much of a box at all, and Momma will have to throw it away and get us a new one!

Mancat Monday: Ballicai + Box = Boxicai

Momma ordered some books, and they came in a box that's just the right size fur us Ballicai! I was the first Ballicus to check out the boxie. Here's a movie of me cleanin my paw in the boxie, and then I saw that Dorydoo was waitin her turn in the box. I'm a good bruther. I let her have the box furry soon after Momma made this movie!

7. Marilyn likes Temptayshuns, but she isn't as Temptayshun-crazy as the rest of us Ballicai.

8. I like cuddlin against Momma at night and makin biscuits on her pillow.

9. Brainball eats baby food squash efurry day to help him with his floofykitty hairball and poop issues. It helps him a lot.
