Easy (Well, EasiER) Like Sunday

Thankies so furry much, effurykitty, for alla yur suggestions and advice and purrs about our big Alpha Bruther Brainball! You really helped put Momma's mind at ease. She felt so bad about what poor Brainball was goin through -- he was a furry unhappy boy!

Brainball's doin bettur with his baldy spot today -- it's still annoyin him, but he's less stressed out today than he was yesterday. His skin is nice and pink, not red, so that's good. The goop you see is where Momma put bag balm on him after she and Daddy cutted out his big mat.

Brainball's still grumpy cuz of his shaved spot, but he's been doin his Alpha Cat Patrols and lookin out the windows at the snow we gotted last night.

Momma and Daddy keep tellin him he's a Good Ol' Brainball and to hang in there, that his furs will grow back soon.

Here's Dorydoo on Momma's bookieshelves, sayin, Hang in there, Brainball... we love you!

Here's me, sayin the same thing. Brainball's such a great bruther, and it makes the rest of us Ballicai sad when he's feelin out of sorts. Cuz he's our Fearless Leadur in addishun to our wunnerful big bruther.

And here's Marilyn, blowin Brainball a kissie from the laundry basket (one of her new favrit spots fur nappin).

I am pleased that BB is doing well now. That shavie spot is huge, wowie. I would be major grumpy if mommie shaved me. I do not have a lot of furs but I get lots of blankies to keep me warmie.

It's ok Brainball. It's a small spot. You should have seen my side after they shaved me for my ultrasound. I felt completely nude. Trust me it will grow back!!!

P.S.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and sending your well wishes, purrs and headbutts!

Ooooh, if Brainball's skin is good and pink, not red and irritated, then probably it felt cold and strange and that is what bothering him!

We cats are very sensitive...;)

I am very glad that Brainball is less grumpy today. I don't blame him for hissing at the people after they cut out his mat. It must feel very strange to him. Don't worry, Brainball, all your handsome floofiness will grow back.

MaoMao, we are glad Brainball is feeling more like himself ... we guess he got some treat medicines to help him out. We think it is so awesome the way you, Dorydoo and Marilyn look up to him, all that support is great medicine too! Momma is grinning ear to ear just thinking about all of that love :)

Brainball, we're so glad to hear that you're feeling better and Amber is *very* relieved to hear that Bean clippers will work on felines and she doesn't have to be completely shaved!

We suspect Brainball's shaved spot is itching as the hair grows back in. If so, the spot (and the kittie) should start feeling better in a day or two.

Try scratching the area if he is still having problems.

And treats, lots of treats. :-)

Mao Mao, thank you for sharing the happy news that Brainball is not quite so out of sorts today. Dorydoo, you look like you're trying to give Brainball a laser treatment with those glowing eyes!
