Wish My Mom Luck...

My Momma takes care of a group of feral kitties outside, and they won't go near nobody but her. She's been called a Cat Whisperur by a lotta folks.

Well, a nice neighbor has given the feral kitties a wonderful opportunity; that is, if Momma can catch 'em. Momma's neighbor has a friend who lives in a remote area, on a farm, and can take alla the outdoor kitties (five of 'em) and will take good care of 'em. This is a furry good thing 'cause Momma and Daddy live near a busy highway.

Momma loves the feral kitties furry much and she wants 'em to be safe, efun though it means they'll be somewhere else and she'll miss the stuffin' outta them.

She caught two of the kitties last night using our kitty carriers, stinky goodness and toona -- yay! -- and now they are with her neighbor, and they'll be on their way to their new home this mornin'.

Momma's happy that she's doin' a good thing for 'em, but she's feeling sad, too, 'cause boy oh boy oh boy will she miss 'em. She wishes she could bring 'em all inside, but me and Dorydoo and Marilyn and Brainball are already four kitties in a small house.

I'd sure appreciate it if youkitties could wish Momma good luck with catchin' the rest of the feral kitties! Momma could also use huggies and some purrs. It's a happy-sad, laugh-cry kind of thing.

Hi My Sweet Mao,

I'm so sorry your Momma's feeling sad.Yet she's doing a wonderful thing for these kitties. There's so much danger outdoors and to know that they be safe in their new place is really a good thing. My mom rescued a kitty that was walking around our neighborhood. We live in Brooklyn and she saw this adorable tiger cat just
walking around. It was very skinny and dirty and mom's heart broke everytime she saw it.So she started to feed it and eventually gain it's trust. So much so it let her pick it up.Mom wanted to keep it yet I wouldn't stand for that.So she called her vet and he said would take the kitty and he did and gave it a good home is own.Mom sees photos of this big mancat everytime
we go to the vet.Our mom's are true
angels and should be proud of how much they help and care.I am sending your momma a big (HUG)what a wonderful person she is...Love and Many Kisses Your Ariel

Ah, what a wonderful/bittersweet occurrence! It's very good that the kitties let your Momma near them! How amazing to find a home for all five. That is a super dooper rescue effort!

Mosaic Lady never trapped the Meezer we wrote about last month. She thinks she did the right thing after all and the Meezer is OK and probably living in an even better place now, just down the hill from us. It's hard to know what is best, but your Momma knows in her very big heart!

Be sure to keep us updated.

That is a nice thing your mom is doing. Feral cats need a chance for a good home too. Good luck - I hope she gets them all.

I like the picture of the three of you looking out the window.

Your mum is doing an incredible thing! Make sure you give her lots of snuggles and remind her that, even though she's losing a few kitty kids, she has some awesome kitty kids at home!

Mao, what a great Momma you have. She's taken good care of those kitties for a long time and is on the way to placing them all in a good home. Sure, she will miss them, but knowing they're safe and secure should help her sadness. Besides, she still has all of you wonderful Ballicai kitties.

Purrs,
~J&B
