Our hearts and our love go out to them!

An update on me: I'm better. I'm still not 100%, but I'm much, much better. Mom is expecting I'll be back at 100% when I have another really good bathroom trip. Since I'm so darned floofy, I'm prone to constipation and hairballs. Usually they aren't too bad, but once in a while, they're pretty rough.
Even though I've still been napping a lot, I've resumed my Alpha Cat Patrols. They keep my household running smoothly, and it's very important to me to protect my Ballicus clowder and my beans. I take my duties as Alpha Cat very seriously. I've been eating and drinking pretty good today, hairball and / or constipation notwithstanding, and this morning, I took a dose of hairball remedy (followed by Temptations -- yummy!), so that should help, too.
If I don't continue improving as I have been, I will go to the vet. But as of right now, I'm definitely headed in the right direction. I really don't want to go to the vet, so I am doing everything I can to get better. Of all the Ballicai, I am the most recalcitrant when it comes to vet visits. To paraphrase Dylan Thomas, I "Do Not Go Gentle Unto That Good Vet." But Mom has made it clear that if I have to go, I will go. *ahem*, Mom. I thought I was the Alpha around here...
Anyhow! haha
Love to all you wonderful kitties. Your friendship and purrs have helped me, my beans, and the other Ballicai so much. Please keep your purrs coming. The Cat Blogosphere is so full of love and support and kindness that it brings a happy tear to this Alpha Girl's eye. Hey, I'm sure Warrior Queen Boudicea got teary-eyed sometimes, too.
And on October 16th, we Ballicai will host another party on the blog: it will be Dorydoo's third birthday!
My thanks to little brother MaoMao for letting me blog today.

Update, 3:11 a.m. on Tuesday: I've reached what I call SOP, Standard Operating Procedure -- that is, back to normal! Tonight, I ate and drank very well, had an excellent bathroom trip, ate and drank some more, took a nap, got back up, went straight to Dad, and asked him for a kitty massage! My Dad gives the best Alpha Cat Massages ever. Mom had told him that she'd know when I was back to 100% SOP when I went to Dad and asked him for a massage. And he gave me a nice, long one... ahhhhh! He was so happy that I'd asked, too.
Oh, it's good to be feeling fine again, and it's good to be a Brainball! I've donned my combat boots and am ready and rarin' to go, to patrol my perimeter. I am Alpha; hear me ROAR!
Of course Mom will continue to keep a close eye on me because I really scared her the other day. She'll probably be dancing reels in the living room every time I eat, every time I drink, and every time I poop, for days to come! Beans. Gotta love 'em, eh?
And I do. *grin*
Thank you, my friends, for your love, friendship, care and purrs -- a cat could have no better friends than you wonderful kitties on the Cat Blogosphere. I love you all.
