1. Momma's got a wool coat she's hadded fur at least a sqwillion years. Well, it felled onna floor inna closet, but before Momma could hang it back up, us Ballicai claimed it fur a kitty bed! Me and Brainball slept on it togethur the othur day, Dorydoo has slept on it, and Marilyn, too! So Momma's leavin it there fur us Ballicai to sleep on whenefur we want to.
2. I'm takin on more and more behaviors frum Brainball, my big bruther and mentor. Brainball has always comed up to Daddy and asked fur rubbies and massages. Well, I'm doin the same thing efurry evening, just like Brainball does, except I holler MAO MAO MAO MAO MAO instead of sayin "rrrrrr" like Brainball. And Brainball fur years has gotted Momma to go into the kitchen with him and pet him while he eats. Now I'm doin the same thing! I walk with Brainball to the kitchen and Momma goes with both of us and pets us while we eat!
3. My Gotcha Day is comin up on February 19! Wowie Kazowie, I will have been with my beans and the othur Ballicai for a whole YEAR! We Ballicai are gonna have a great big MaoMao Gotcha Day Pawtay onna bloggie. Then in Spring (probably April or May sometime, Momma doesn't know my real burfday since I showed up as a stray kitty), I'll turn two years old. And when I become a two-year-old mancat, I'm gonna ask my beeyootiful sweetiepie a furry impawtant question...!

I LOVE claiming new items of clothing/soft furnishings for kitty beds! Congratulations on your score. My gotcha day is in February too... Kate remembers that it was the Monday of Orientation Week at the University of Tasmania in 2002, but she doesn't remember the date. I might have to do a little detective work and find out for sure. Can't miss out on an opportunity for yummy gotcha day treats!

Great post, Mao! Humans surely must understand that when they put something on the floor, bed, couch, chair, wherever, it always magically transforms into a cat bed! My mom sometimes takes off her coat and puts it on her bed and POOF! Cat bed!

That was generous of her to let you have the wool coat. My human wasn't at all pleased with the gray fur I left on her black alpaca cloak. I thought it added a nice contrast, but she mumbled something about a "dry cleaner" and threatened to sell me to the circus. :-(
